Joe was a devoted husband and loving father and proud grandfather. Joe was born April 2, 1921 in Virginia and served in the U.S. Army. Joe was a candy maker with his brother Eddie Riley and Sister Gertrude Lee. Then moved to Palm Beach County in 1968, Joe worked as a auto and heavy equipment mechanic. Retiring from the city of Riviera Beach, FL.
Joe has touched a lot of lives with laughter, kindness, friendliness and will surely be missed.
Joe's memories will be cherish always by his wife and friend of 54 years Emma Jane (Stone) Riley, his 3 children, Donna (Walt) Dopheide, of Friendsville, TN, Joseph J. Riley Jr. of Riviera Beach, FL and Mary Lou (Tracy) Atkinson of Jupiter, FL, two grandchildren, Francisco Morel Jr. and Joseph Morel, a sister Cindy Matthews of Harrisburg, PA, a brother, Eddie (Virginia) Riley of Steubenville, OH, his nephew Wiley (Jane) Riley of Tarpon Springs, FL, and all his friends and family.
Visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. Richmond, Ohio will be from 7pm to 9pm on Thurs. Nov. 10. Funeral services will be held on Fri. Nov. 11 at Noon at the funeral home with the Rev. James Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in the East Springfield Cemetery.
