Oh, today is a sad day and a good day. Sad, because you've gone ahead of us, and good because last night you were held by Jesus!

Our son, Joseph Thomas Reed, Sr., 49, finished his days here on earth, January 9, 2022, after Covid complications. Joe was an awesome son, brother, uncle, and friend. He'd stop anywhere and everywhere to help someone with a problem. When his leg had to be removed years ago, he told his nieces and nephews he now had a bionic leg! Emily and BJ, his niece and nephew, decorated his metal leg with their stickers. He was very proud of those!

His brother, Bill, died before him 8 years earlier. Grandpas and Grandmas, uncles, aunts, and cousins all lined Heaven's doorway as they saw him coming!!

Joe had two sons, Joseph T., Jr. and Mason. Those left to mourn his loss include his Dad and Mom, Bill and Tinnie Reed; three sisters: Tina Reed, Teresa (Brian) Means, and Cathy Reed; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be private for family only at Everhart Bove Funeral Home, Wintersville, Ohio.

Cremation will take place at a later time.

Ah, Joe, it feels lonely with you not being here! See you soon! We love you.
