JUANITA RILEY, 78, of Richmond , Ohio , passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

She was born in Fernwood , Ohio , July 28, 1933 , a daughter of the late Floyd "Buzz" and Marie (Scott) Poole .  She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard "Red" Poole and Sam Poole.

She was a graduate of Wintersville High School Class of 1951 and was a retired clerk of Kaufmann's Department Store.  She was a 60 year member of the Richmond United Methodist Church where she was active with the nursery staff and the memorial garden committee.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Riley whom she married August 31, 1951, by two daughters, Linda (Steve) Hawkins of East Springfield and Debbie (Terry) Mellendorf of New Albany, OH; by two granddaughters, Jennifer Hawkins, MD of Dayton and Kristen (Brandon) Ashwood of Warrenton, VA and a great-grandson, Tyler Ashwood; by a sister, Leona (Walter) Quigg of Ocean Grove, NJ and two sisters-in-law, Dollie McAfee of Wintersville and Shirley Poole of Pico Rivera, CA.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 PM Wednesday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. , Richmond .

Funeral services for Juanita will be held at the Richmond United Methodist Church , Sugar St. , Richmond at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Carol Smith officiating.

A private graveside interment will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens , Colerain , Ohio .
