Julie L. Hocker, 60, of East Springfield, OH, passed away June 29, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident. Her mother Faye Carter also passed with her in the accident.

She was born February 24, 1958 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Fredrick S. and Faye (Bausell) Carter.

Julie worked at Jefferson Community College as a bookstore manager. She had unconditional love and affection for her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Hocker, Jr. of East Springfield, OH.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 12:30 pm.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
