Karen E. Carpenter, 78, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on December 10, 2025. She was born on November 5, 1947, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Harry and Virginia (Morrow) Carpenter. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Deana (Anthony Skariot) Carpenter; her sister, Donna Sentich; her several nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Lily Belle and Pearl.

In honor of Karen's wishes, there will be no services held.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Arbor Day Foundation.
