Karen L. Neff, 54, of Unionport, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012 at the Carriage Inn, Steubenville.

She was born March 25, 1958 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late James Melvin and Effie Mae (Raymond) Neff.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, James Doty and brother, Melvin Neff.

Karen was a member of the First Christian Church of Unionport. She loved outdoors, hunting, fishing, flowers, and gardening.

Karen is survived by her son, Donald Doty of Steubenville; daughters, Kara Heck of Brilliant and Robin (Brian) Hare of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Kyle, Brittany, and Cali; and sister, Jeanne McGrew of Bloomingdale.

Friends will be received on Friday June 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Hubert Granger officiating.

Burial will follow at New Alexandria.
