Karen S. Taylor, 74, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2023. She was born on June 3, 1948, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Alice (Standiford) Routzon.

Karen was a school teacher at Springfield High School for 15 years until she transferred to teach at Edison High School for 16 years where she was the Academic Advisor and was a member of the school board. She also was an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Gateway Community College. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, crafts, reading, and playing the slot machines. She adored her family and loved going to their sporting events to support them.

She is survived by her husband, James Taylor; her son, Jamie (Kristin) Taylor; her grandchildren, Abby Taylor (Zach Ravine), Alec Taylor, and Anna Taylor; and her sisters, Judy Binkiewicz and Sandy (Phil) Judy.
