Karen L. Tyson, 69, of Canton , OH formerly of Amsterdam , passed away December 14, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center , Canton .

She was born May 16, 1945 in Amsterdam , OH , a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Mary (Foit) Stone.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tyson; brother, Richard Stone; and sister, Elloise Amstutz.

Karen is survived by her two brothers, Thomas W. (Irene) Stone of Carrollton and Franklin (Chloe) Stone of Canton; sister, Mary Jane (Wayne) Stull of Amsterdam, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. , Richmond on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery .
