Kathy Ann Brettell, 64, of Steubenville, OH, passed away November 22, 2015 at her home, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born on August 22, 1951 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late John Edward and Helen Jane (Bowman) Brettell.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Brettell.

Kathy retired from Walmart in 2013 after 15 years of service. She was also a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Mingo Jct., OH.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her three sons, Jarrod (Becky) Morris, Jacob Morris, and Joshua Morris and his companion, Jayna; two grandchildren, Justice and Reagan Jane; three step grandchildren, Reese "Eddy", C.J., and Tylee; two brothers, Jack (Cheryl) Brettell and Kenneth (Pose) Brettell; four sisters, Judy (Kim) Walker, Toni (Tim) Newberry, Tommie (Paul) Matello, and Helen E. Brettell; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy's sons and grandchildren were her world. She was a special person in so many peoples' lives and touched the life of each and every person she met.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at the First United Presbyterian Church, Mingo Jct., OH from 3:00 PM until a Celebration of Life service at 5:00 PM
