KATHY A. MORETTA, 64, of Bergholz , OH , passed away in the Cleveland Clinic on Sunday, October 27, 2013 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Rockwell , Iowa , May 10, 1949 , a daughter of the late Neil and Lily Clapsaddle Lonergan.  She is also preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Kara Moretta.

She was Methodist by faith and her hobbies included quilting and gardening.

Kathy was a veteran of the US Navy at which time she met and married Dean B. Moretta who survives.  Their children are Dean B. (Ramona) Moretta of Queencreek, AZ and Tony C. (Jennifer) Moretta of Clovis, NM; and grandchildren: DeWayne, Ashton, Zaine and Tesa.  She is also survived by a brother, James Lonergan of Amery , WI and a sister, Marian ( Roy ) Martin of Clovis, CA, and a niece and nephew Mike and Keri Lonergan.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz where funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday with the Reverends Dan Upson and Mark Thomas officiating.  Interment will be in the Bergholz Cemetery .
