KENNETH R. BAUGHMAN, 73, or Irondale, OH, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, following a brief illness. For many years he maintained the roads for Ross Township and finished his career as a forest ranger for the State of Ohio. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War having served in the Philippine Islands and Nassau and was a member of the Toronto American Legion. Ken attended the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and was best known as an avid square dancer.
He was born July 2, 1932 in Progress, WV, a son of the late Lee and Locie (Moore) Baughman. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Guy and Stanley Baughman and his first wife, Anna Mae (Mushrush) Baughman. He is survived by Violet (Graham) Baughman, daughters Peggy (David) Strosnider and Barb (Gary Michael) Halfhill, both of Irondale, Sue Joseph, Beaver, PA and Tina (Art) Doak, Falls Church, VA; 2 brothers, Frank of Irondale and Glenn of Minford, OH, 2 sisters, Helen Cummins, Steubenville, and Lola Stanley, Amsterdam, 5 grandchildren, Jon and Adam Halfhill, Holly and Alex Doak and Stacie (Del) Snider and 2 great grandchildren.
