Kevin Michael Sczruba, Sr., 49, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away February 24, 2020 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

He was born January 23, 1971 in Steubenville, OH, a son of Ronald and Carol (Evans) Sczruba.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jon Jarrett Sczruba; paternal grandparents, Rose and John Sczruba; maternal grandparents, Hilda Evans and Milfred Evans; mother-in-law, Harriett Ann Shumard; and his four-legged companion, Axel.

Kevin was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church, Wintersville.

He was a former real estate agent and former volunteer fireman for 15 years in Wintersville.

Kevin was a manager at Giannamore's Pizza where he worked for over 30 years.

Kevin enjoyed fantasy football where he was a commissioner. He was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Denise (Shumard) Sczruba; sons, Kevin "K.J" Michael Sczruba, Jr. and Hunter James Sczruba; brother Ronny Sczruba; sisters, Tammy (John) Pavlic and Carol Sczruba; father-in-law, Robert James Shumard; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Colonial Baptist Church, 201 Gumps Lane, Wintersville, OH with Pastor Randy Sells officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
