Obituary

LADY GRACE NUTTER KOMESTAKES TIMMS, 100, of Richmond, OH, passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville following an extended illness. She was a homemaker but during WWII, she worked on the shell line at Weirton Steel. She was a Methodist by faith. Lady Grace was born February 21, 1907 in Girta, Ritchie Co., WV, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Ella Leona (Douglas) Nutter. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Nick Komestakes (1962) and her second husband, Barnett P. Timms (1969); by 2 daughters, Stella Komestakes and Donna Ruth Crister; a son, Harry James Komestakes, brothers John, Ralph, George, Charles, Robert and Blaine and sisters, Mary Belle Nutter, Hattie Ormiston, Bessie Hill, Daisy Mallas, Ruth Conley, Carrie Keinlin and Helen Beckner. She is survived by 2 daughters, Georgia Keppen of Richmond and Emily "Chappy" (Hank) Orsini, Wintersville; 13 grandhcildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with the Reverend Roberta Byrum officiating.
