LAURA J. BURNS, 74, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Lancia Royale Nursing Home, Steubenville. She was born in Steubenville December 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Ray and Myrtle (Oliver) Burns and was a Protestant by faith. She was a Registered Nurse at Ohio Valley Hospital having earned a Master's Degree and taught nursing at the old Ohio Valley School of Nursing. Miss Burns is survived by her sister, Naomi Bolitho and husband, Ron, by 2 nieces, Laura Bolitho and Amy DeMattio and husband, Mark and their children, Ashley, Paige and Derek DeMattio, all of Richmond. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Monday from 5 PM until time of funeral services at 8 PM with the Reverend Kenn Syckle.
