Leo E. Quinn, 83, of Mingo Jct., Ohio passed away May 16, 2026 at Valley Hospice Care Center, Steubenville. He was born April 16, 1943 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late John E. and Virginia (Reynolds) Quinn.
Leo was a former machine tender for 17 years at the Federal Paper Board in Steubenville, OH and a laborer at Koppers Chemical Corp. in Follansbee, WV for 22 years.
Leo was a lifetime member of the GKL Wildlife Association. He also held membership with the Wildlife Federation, Wells Twp. Sportsman Club, and American Legion Auxiliary. Leo loved fishing, hunting, and farming. He was a Trapper education instructor and Asst. instructor for hunter education. Leo was a Veteran of the US Army. He helped along with his wife at the Bread and Roses soup kitchen at St. Paul Church.
Leo is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda (Huston) Quinn; two sons, Michael A. (JoAnn) Quinn and Walter G, Quinn; daughter, Tricia LeAnn Quinn; sisters, Mary Ellen (Wes) Brown, Doris Ann (John) Babcock, N. Jean (Edward) Schaffner, Tonja Kay (Dave) McCollough; grandchildren, Darcey (Rob) Crowe, Brittney Quinn, and Julie (Kevin) Moser; great-grandchildren, Trinity Nicole Porreca, Cooper Crowe, Kyndal Crowe, and Anthony Moser; sister-in-law, Sheryl Maple, cousin that he loved like a brother, Dennis Quinn.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday from 2-6 PM. Funeral services will follow at 6 PM with Father Steven McKeown officiating. Private burial at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, Bread and Roses Soup Kitchen, 415 Adams Street, Steubenville, OH 43952 or Kolmont Community Church, 48 Finley Rd, Mingo Junction, OH 43938.
