LEONA MORRIS, 94, of Madison, Ohio, formerly of Bergholz, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 in the Lantern of Madison in Madison.

She was born in Raccoon, PA April 17, 1919, a daughter of the late James L. and Emma Souders Staten.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald who died September 14, 1982;by a son, Larry who died May of 1982, a daughter, Karen and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a retired Respiratory Therapy Technician from the old Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville and a Nazarene.  Leona is survived by three sons, James (Mary) of Perry, Ohio, Donald (Monica) of Jefferson, Ohio and Kevin (Denise) of Madison, Ohio 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Painesville Church of the Nazarene, 6235 Chestnut St., Painesville, OH 44077 at 11 AM Wednesday with Pastor Tom Purchase officiating.

A committal service will be held at the graveside in Bergholz Cemetery on Thursday at 11 AM.
