Lois Darlene Cline, 73, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Valley Hospice in Steubenville. She was born on December 22, 1952, in Steubenville, to the late Dale and Edna (McNemar) Cline. In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Dale Cline; and her brother-in-law, Robert “Shorty” Dorsey.
Lois was a faithful member of the Unionport Christian Church. She dedicated 35 years of her life to serving others as a registered nurse at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Beyond her professional life, Lois had a deep love for travel and adventure. She explored destinations across the United States and embraced opportunities to journey overseas, especially throughout Europe.
She is survived by her brother, Robert “Bob” (Lisa) Cline; her sisters, Charlotte Dorsey and Cindy Cline; her nieces and nephews, Kristen (Scott) Medley, Bradley (Adrienne) Dorsey, Zachary Cline, and Erika Cline; and her great nieces and nephews, Brayden Medley, Kameron Dorsey, and Kiersten Dorsey.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Valley Hospice and the cancer center staff for all of their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastor Jeremy Kuttler and Pastor Tim Groos officiating. Burial will follow at Unionport Cemetery.
