Lois J. Ramsey, 52, of Richmond , Ohio passed away September 21, 2012 in the arms of her loving husband Jim and surrounded by her family.

Lois bravely fought ovarian cancer for one year.

She was born November 4, 1959 at the Gill Hospital in Steubenville , Ohio a daughter of Mae Brown of Toronto , Ohio and the late Phillip James Brown, Sr.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Phillip "Jim" Brown, Sr.

Lois started Girl Scout Troop 3054 and was troop leader. She was assistant advisor for Bits Pieces 4-H-Club, loved helping out in the 4-H kitchen, 4-H meetings, and doing 4-H projects with her kids. Lois was campground assistant for Jefferson County fair and help developed the camp ground regularly for campers.

Lois loved her grandchildren they were her pride and joy. Lois loved her flower gardens and her "visions" of landscape projects.

She worked for Treasure Island and as a Pharmacy Technician at Krogers in Steubenville .

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Jim Ramsey of Richmond; son, Daniel (Heather) Ramsey of Toronto; daughter, Kalynn (Brett) Telmanik of Wooster; grandchildren, Danica and Jacob Ramsey, and one on the way; brothers, Jim (Pam) Brown Jr. of Toronto and John (Tammy) Brown of Toronto; and sister, Linda Large of Columbus.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. , Richmond

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 AM at the Richmond United Methodist Church with Pastor Carol Smith officiating.

Entombment will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
