Lori Beatty, 61, of Steubenville, passed away August 21, 2025 in Hospice Care at Allegheny General Hospital. Lori was born in Dennison, Twin City Hospital, and grew up in Scio. Lori's parents, Jim and Arlene (Timmerman) Beatty are deceased, as well as, both sets of grandparents of Bowerston and Scio; a brother-in-law, Rich Elliott; a special cousin, Janie Veach; among others.
She is survived by a sister, Jan (Beatty) Elliott; niece, Kylie (Jon) Eick; great nephews, Nate and Jameson Eick. She is also survived by aunts/uncles, Vickie (Timmerman) Burnhouse of New Philadelphia, Joyce (Don) Smith of Scio, Carole (Gary) Krieg of Sardis, and Richard (Suzy) Beatty of Scio, and many cousins.
Lori held jobs at Tappan Marina, secretary for a housing project/grant, all before starting work at Trinity Medical Center in the medical record department for 24 years, also at Delta Care, working part-time for 10 years. She's not been shy of hard work.
Lori had a heart of gold. If someone needed something, Lori was trying to figure out a way to get it for them. She loved to cook and host parties. She adored her great nephews. She'd say "wonder what my boys are up to?"
