M. Eileen Marshall, 86, who resided with her daughter, Jan in Pataskala , OH , formerly of Amsterdam , OH passed away July 23, 2014 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center , Pataskala , OH .

She was born December 8, 1927 in Toronto , OH , a daughter of the late Hugh and Minnie (Morrow) McLaughlin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Marshall who passed away June 6, 2004 and whom she married on August 5, 1945 .

Eileen was Catholic by faith. In 1988 she retired as a school teacher from John Gregg Elementary. Eileen was a former member of the VFW Post 232 Amsterdam Ladies Auxiliary and the Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by her sons, James (Tina) Marshall of Bergholz, OH and Daniel (Barbara) Marshall of Hohenwald, TN; daughters, Janice (Roland) Osborne of Pataskala, OH and Connie Marshall of Carrollton, OH; sisters, Beverly Kmatz of Robertsville, OH, Katie (Joe) Vahalik of Amsterdam, OH, and Mary Jane Weals of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St. , Bergholz on Saturday from 10 AM until 12 Noon followed by a private graveside service for family at the Bergholz Cemetery .

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. , Newark , OH 43055 .
