MADELYN E. TEDROW, 82, of East Springfield, OH, passed away at 8:56 AM Saturday, February 17, 2007 in TMCW emergency room. For many years, she was the clerk for the Cain Realty-Auction of East Springfield and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in East Springfield where she had served as both secretary and chairman of numerous committees. She had been a former member of the old Annapolis Grange. Madelyn had matriculated at Boston University, Boston, MA and was known for her love and knowledge of antiques.
She was born in Elm Grove, WV, October 18, 1924, a daughter of the late Wyndham D. and Beatrice Helen (Morgan) Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.W. "Teddy" Tedrow whom she married September 2, 1960 and who died April 3, 1999; by a daughter, Sadara Sue in 1961, by her foster parents, Ted and Frances Guess and a brother, Lin Jones.
She is survived by several sisters and brothers including Joanne (Phil) Turley, Pelham, AL, Delores Peterson, Florida and Delores Williams, Glendale, AZ; John (Chris) Jones and Wyndham Jones, Jr., both of Florida, Patt Jones, No. Canton; a special niece, Lisa Turley, Birmingham, AL and many friends.
Calling hours for Madelyn will be Monday from 1 til 4 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond and Tuesday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church, East Springfield.
