Manford "Red" Dishon, 89, of Wintersville, OH, passed away April 18, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center.He was born July 19, 1926, in Hamilton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nora and Grant Smith, father and mother Verna (Smith) Dishon, wife, Jo-Ann (Leonhart) Dishon and grandson, Grant Dishon.

Red served his country in the United States Army during WWII.He retired from Weirton Steel.

Red is survived by his daughter, Nancy McAdam; son, Daniel (Laurie) Dishon; sisters, Virginia Loper and Marie Slezak; grandchildren, Mary Ann (Jason) Ely, Adam McAdam, Matthew McAdam, Timothy McAdam, and Alisia (Wes) Soles; and great-grandchildren, Andrew McAdam and Aidan Ely.

Private services will be held at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, Wintersville.
