Manuel Prokopakis, 78, of Annapolis, OH , passed away March 10, 2014 at his home.

He was born June 19, 1935 in Beech Bottom, WV, a son of the late Nicholas and Androneki (Kefalos) Prokopakis.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Marie Baker and one grandchild, Jamie.

Manuel was a member at Richmond United Methodist Church and attended Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. He volunteered at Prime Time and at East Springfield Fire Department for over 40 years.

He is survived by his sons, John (Kelly) Prokopakis and Jeff (Marsha) Prokopakis; brothers, George (Joann) Prokopakis and Michael (Eleanor) Prokopakis both of California; grandchildren, Wendy (Doug) Ketchum, Dean (Joanie) Baker, John, Heather, Tyler (Angela), Sara, Kristen, and Kayla Prokopakis; and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. , Richmond where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Fr. Nicholas Halkias and Pastor Carol Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Leas Cemetery.
