Marcella Bennington 96, of Richmond, Ohio passed away March 22, 2022 at Valley Hospice Care Center. She was born September 12, 1925 in Olive Hill, KY, a daughter of the late Bee and Gertie (King) Bear. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Waddell; second husband, William E. Bennington; son Larry Waddell; brother, Elwood Bear; sisters, Thelma Kegley, Alma and Maxine. Marcella was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a sweet loving woman that enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for planting beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her children, Sheila (Nelson) Dukes, Bill (Sherri) Bennington, Jr., and Geary (Lori) Bennington, Sr.; sister, Hazel Hall; grandchildren, Geary Bennington Jr., Austin William Bennington, and Gage Bennington; great-grandchild, Riley Bennington.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
