MARCIA R. WOOD, 63, of Amsterdam, OH, formerly of Dublin, OH, passed away in the home she shared with her daughter, Amy, Sunday, August 31, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born January 5, 1945 in Devil's Lake, ND. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Evan Wood who died September 19, 1999. Marcia and her late husband, John, owned and operated an insurance agency in Dublin until her retirement in 2001. She was a Protestant by faith. She is survived by her mother, Mickey Collins of Devil's Lake, ND; by two sons, Jason Kidder of Leavenworth, KS and Eric Wood of Reston, VA; by two daughters, Rebecca Kidder of Rapid City, SD and Amy Wood of Amsterdam; by grandchildren Connor and Madysen Bringsplenty and John Maxwell Wood; a brother, Thomas Hart of Litchfield, MN, brother-in-law William Wood and wife Shirlene of Amsterdam and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Marcia's Life will be a private family event. Her request was that any memorial contributions in her memory be made to Charity Hospice, 500 Luray Drive, Wintersville, OH, 43953.
