MARGARET S. GAMBLE, 87, passed away at the Ohio Valley Hospice Palative Care Unit in Steubenville Saturday, October 14, 2006. She was a Steubenville resident for over 50 years before moving to the Riverside Manor Apartments in Toronto, OH following the death of her husband, Laurence J. Gamble who died in 1977. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church, the Wintersville American Legion for 34 years and the Hungarian Culture Club of Martins Ferry, OH. Margaret was born in Steubenville September 6, 1919, a daughter of the late Andrew and Susanna (Lorincz) Toth. In addition to her husband Laurence, she is preceded in death by her sister, Helen Toth, who died in 1964. She is survived by her brothers, Andrew A. Toth of Canton, OH and Ernest Toth and wife Jeanne of East Springfield as well as 14 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with the Reverend Clint Quillin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery, Yorkville.
