Marianne Virtue, 78, of Hopedale, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was born on March 29, 1948, to the late Frank F. Marker Sr. and Agnes (Kish) Marker. In addition to her parents, Marianne is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Virtue; her daughter, Theresa Simpson; and her siblings, Regis, Bernard, Fred, Frank Jr., and Patricia Marker.

Marianne was Catholic by faith and attended Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville. She adored and lived for her family, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping trips with her grandkids and spending her favorite holiday with them, making them Christmas dinner. She also loved her dogs and all wildlife.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah) Baker and Amanda Oxley; her great grandchildren, Logan Baker, Caleb Baker, Zoey McGraw, Christian McGraw, and Lakyn Timcho; and her many nieces and nephews.

In honor of Marianne’s wishes, there will be no services held.
