Marie A. Havelka 90 of Follansbee, WV formerly of Bergholz, OH went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2021. She was born May 24, 1930 in Amsterdam, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Rosie (Moletti) Scopel. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, William Elliott; brothers, Albino Scopel, Tony Scopel, John Scopel, Trischino Scopel and Attilio Scopel; sisters, Pauline Teichman, Bella Johnson, and Agnes Scopel.

Marie was former member of the Bergholz Church and Christ and currently a member of Brentwood Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Havelka; sons, Larry (Ronda) Mattern, John (Linda) Mattern, Alan (Melissa) Thomas; sister, Angie Tiziani; step-children, Tal (Theresa) Elliott, Joe Havelka Jr., Janice (Jeff) Tarr, Jodi (Bill) Westling, Jason (Brandy) Havelka, Mike Havelka; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Westling officiating. Burial will follow at Bergholz cemetery.
