Marie Runt, 94, of Steubenville, OH, passed away September 20, 2015 at Weirton Medical Center.

She was born February 20, 1921, in Jeanette, PA, a daughter of late Adolph and Frances (Seider) Walters.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Runt who passed away in 1972; son, Larry Runt; great grandson, Landon Skukan; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Marie was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. She was an Interlife and Service Member and Graceful Agers member. She loved cooking, baking, and walking.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Donna Kay) Runt of Hopedale, OH; daughter, Susan (William) Marietti of Bloomingdale, OH; grandchildren, Stephanie (Richard) Bentley, Melissa Marietti, Chad (Brandy) Runt, Corey (Kassie Mitchell) Runt, Charley (Jenise) Runt, and Craig (Kelly Dormitz) Runt; and great grandchildren, Jadon and McKenna Bentley, Nathan Schupp, Andrew, Evan, Delilah, and Ryleigh Runt.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 3 PM with Pastor Michael Hackathorn officiating.
