MARIE SCHULTHIES, 75, of Richmond, OH, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
She was born in Richmond, July 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Roy and Bertha (Jackson) Bell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fred, who died March 21, 2002 and by a son, Fred and a daughter, Juanita.
Marie was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where she was a Vacation Bible School teacher for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen (Mark) Starcher, and Donna Schulthies, both of Richmond, and by Bette (Bob) Evans of Bloomingdale; by a brother, Warren Bell of Steubenville; 4 sisters, Wilma McCollum of Wintersville, Jean Smith and Betty Carte, both of Steubenville and Dorie (Harry) Striker of Richmond, by 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Jamie Starcher, Bobby and Tommy Evans and one great-grandchild, Leah Marie Wilson, a sister-in-law, Shirley (Jack) Davies of Steubenville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Monday from 5 until 8 PM where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday with the Reverend Mark Thomas officiating.
