Marion O. Francis, 80, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born on June 14, 1944 in Broadacre, Ohio a son of the late Sylvester and Gladys (Bake) Francis. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Dana.

Marion graduated from Jefferson Union High School in 1963. He was a member of Wintersville SDA Church. Marion served his country in the Army as a medic. He met and married his wife Terri in 1968. He retired from Jefferson Landmark in 2006 after 26 years where he worked as a mechanic and truck driver.

Marion was a devout Christian and family man. He loved farming his whole life, he loved to laugh and he loved sweet tea.

Marion is survived by his wife of 55 years Terri Lee (Toalston) Francis; children, Lisa (Robert) Kuester and Shelley (David) Grafton; grandchildren, Taylor (Kaitlyn) Grafton, Nathan Grafton and Casey Kuester; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Jacob Grafton and he adored them all.

Marion has three sisters, Mary Ellen (Bob) Miller, Sonja (Mike) Whiteman and Roxie (Grayson) Middleton and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Weirton Medical Cancer Center, his physicians and the staff at Valley Hospice for all their care and compassion.

Private celebration of Life will be held for family.
