Marjorie Ellen Beebe, 97, passed away on March 5, 2023. She was born on October 27, 1925, in Mingo Junction, Ohio, to the late Robert R. and Callie (Waud) McConnell. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Clyde R. Beebe, her sister, Maxine Townsend two grandchildren; and her one great great grandchild.
She is survived by her brother, James McConnell; sisters Kate Wrkich and Pat Fellows, her children, Cheryl (Fred) Medley, Linda (Denny) Hout, Keith (Karen) Beebe, Joyce (Kenny) Fenske, Doug (Tammy) Beebe, Jerri Sue (Jo) Beebe, Gary (Kim) Beebe, Brian (Charla) Beebe, and Jo Anne (Steve) Coop; her 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Before retirement, Marjorie was a nurse cadet during World War II and worked as a registered nurse at the Ohio Valley Hospital for 38 years. She and her husband helped build the Wintersville Baptist Temple and a flourishing bus ministry in the 60s and 70s. Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 3-6 P.M. There will also be a visitation hour the following day, Monday, March 13, 2023, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 12 P.M.
