Obituary

MARJORIE E. SHUMAN, 77, of Annapolis, OH, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Valley Hospice Pallative Care Unit, Steubenville, following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and member of the Annapolis United Presbyterian Church. She was born in Brilliant, OH, August 23, 1929, a daughter of the late James A. and Mary Kathryn (Crozier) Leasure. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey O. Shuman who died February 6, 1988; by her companion, Louis A Trudeau who died January 2, 2006, by three brothers, James, Walter and William Leasure and one sister, Dorothy Leasure. She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (James) Mader of Annapolis and Suzann Hayes of Wintersville, by a son, James H. (Valerie) Shuman of Dalton, OH, former son-in-law, Charles Hayes of Freeport, OH, 7 grandchildren: Jamie (Michele) Shuman, Ozark, MO, Matthew (Nancy) Mader, Annapolis, Jodi (Nate) Converse, Massillon, OH, Dana (Eric) Ferguson, Richmond, OH, Stacey (Steve) Linsalata, Apple Creek, OH, Shannon (Ben) Taylor, Hopedale and Sabrina (Tommy) Byers, Steubenville, OH; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mildred Deranek of Paso Robles, CA and Karen Leasure of Mingo Jct., OH, and her best friend of 69 years, Marjorie Ely of Warren, OH. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St, Richmond on Sunday from 3 - 7 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday with the Reverend Jason Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at the Holly Memorial Gardens, Colrain, OH. Contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Ave, Steubenville, OH. 43952.
