Mary Margaret "Margie" Berdine, 74 of Wintersville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on August 31, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer and dementia. Mary was born March 26, 1943 in Steubenville, Ohio. She was a graduate of Wintersville High School and was retired from the McCullough's Children Home. She also belonged to Order of the Eastern Star, Unionport Chapter #360. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Dean Marker and Sue Marker (April 2017) and brother, Harry Marker. Mary leaves behind her children, Mickie (Hubert Hopkins) Pasco, Tracy Summy, and Michel (Barb Kritikos) Berdine; five beautiful grandchildren, Will Pasco, Kristin (Devin) Tennant, Sean Summy, Arianna Berdine, and Lexi Berdine; two sisters, Linda Ribar and Deana (Mark) Chafin along with three nephews and  two nieces. The family would like to give a special  thank you to Magnolia Manor and Valley Hospice for caring for Mary in her time of need.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Richmond Union cemetery. Send condolences online at www.everhart-bovefuneralhomes.com
