Mary "Betty" Carroll, 72, of Richmond, OH, passed away February 21, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.

She was born April 7, 1943 in West Branch, Michigan, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Evans Cauchy.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother Tony Cauchy

Mary was Catholic by faith and a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Richmond. She was a Registered Nurse at Trinity Health System for over 48 years, including 25 years being in the Operating Room.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John "Jack" Carroll;  three sons, John (Cheryl) Carroll of Massillon, Ohio, Jeff (Wendy) Carroll Of Tallmadge, and Jason (Katie)Carroll of Westerville; four grandchildren, John Carroll III Justin Carroll, Kaylee Mae Carroll, Paityn Carroll; brother, Joe Cauchy; sister, Margaret Arton

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday, February 24, from 4-8 PM. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated Thursday 11 AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Richmond with Father John McCoy, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Steubenville, Ohio. Vigil service will be 7:45 PM at the funeral home.
