MARY ELIZABETH CUNNINGHAM, 94, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home, Steubenville. She was a member of the Wintersville Baptist Temple and a former waitress at the old Lake Lodge Club, Richmond. She was born in Eldersville, PA, July 22, 1911, a daughter of the late Homer and Maude (Gray) Berdine. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Francis L. Cunningham whom she married December 23, 1957 and who died November 9, 1994; by a son, Raymond Castner, 1980, an infant daughter, Barbara Ann, 1944, a grandson, Lawrence Miller, 3 brothers, James, Milton and George Berdine and 4 sisters, Ethel Ledford, Alice Virgin, Mabel Swan and Helen Bergette. She is survived by her son, Charles K. Castner and his wife, Tandra, Wintersville, a daughter, Shirley L Futch, Steubenville, OH, 9 grandchildren, Neida Cooper, Paul Castner, Charles Castner II, Aaron Castner, Mark Julian, Wm. C. Coburn, Beverly Bartels and Donald Castner; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St, Richmond Sunday from 1 - 3 PM and from 5 - 6 PM. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Sunday following calling hours.
