Mary Jane Grant, 81 of Hopedale, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Meadows of Cadiz after battling many health issues.

She was born February 21, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Russell and Wilma (Nagy) Hatfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lori Ann and Deborah Jane; one infant son.

Mary Jane enjoyed quilting, crocheting, baking, and curves exercising. She will be sadly missed by everyone.

She is survived by her husband, James Grant; children, Sandy (Dan) Salacienski, James (Dreanne) Grant, and Melinda Grant; six brothers, Dave (Carolyn) Hatfield, Larry Hatfield, Dennis (Karen) Hatfield, Keith (Cindy) Hatfield, Rod Hatfield and Dale (Joyce) Hatfield; four grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Emily, and Audrey; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. www.everhart-bovefuneralhomes.com.
