Mary Louise Johnston Merrill, 68 of East Springfield , Ohio passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at her home.

Born February 13, 1943 in Sugar Grove , OH , she was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (Wasley) Johnston. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by sister, Carol Householder; and brother, Charles Johnston.

Mary was a member of the Lighthouse Church for many years where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, and Youth Choir Director. She also coordinated and directed their Live Nativity and Easter Dramas.

Mary is survived by her husband Linnard whom she married on July 20, 1963; son, Jeffrey and his wife Shawnna; grandsons, Haiden and Lukka; sisters, Annabel Kirkbride, Kathleen Stevenson, and Maedel Schmoker; and two very special nieces, Kelly Ann Householder and Billie Harding and their families; amongst other nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mary will be Tuesday at the Lighthouse Presbyterian Church, Richmond from 5 - 7 PM. Funeral services at 7 PM. Private burial will take place at Sugar Grove Cemetery .
