Matthew Kell, Jr., 71 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

Matthew was born June 7, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Matthew and Edna Embleton Kell, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Miller Kell and two brothers Douglas and Joseph Kell.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, retired crane operator from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a member of the Wintersille American Legion Stevens-Christian Post # 557 and was Methodist by faith.

Matthew is survived by three sons, Mark (Mary Ellen) Kell of Kennedy Township,PA, David Kell of Wintersville, OH, and Donald (Trish) Kell of Medina, OH; six grandchildren; two sisters, Nora (Harry) Huggins of Venice, FL and his twin sister Esther (Fred) Van Dyke of Toronto, OH; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday from 11 AM until time of services at 12 noon with Pastor Michael Culp officiating.
