Mazie Roberta Disbennett, 77 of Richmond, Ohio passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Lancia Nursing Home.

She was born July 21, 1943 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Leonard Francis "Bill" Donaldson and Mary (Mackey) McClure. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Donaldson and a sister, Betty Giles.

Mazie was a Veteran of the US Army and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is a survivor of the great Alaskan earthquake of 1964.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Disbennett; son, Brian Allen (Janice) Disbennett; brother, Roger (Holly) Donaldson; sisters, Kathy Brofchek, Blanche (Jim) Hill, Peggy Miro, Virginia Conner and her companion, Joe Swinski, Sally Donaldson, granddaughters, Elizabeth (Allen) Kidd; Nancy Joann (Chris) DeVan Kaylin (James) Miller; great-grandchildren, Johnny, James, Jaacob, and Dominick; great-grandson, Carter; niece, Sonja (Brian) Owens, numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home and burial will follow at New Alexandria cemetery.
