MELVIN C. CONNOR, 55, of Wintersville, OH, passed away in his home of cancer on Monday, October 27, 2008. He was born November 23, 1952 in Alliance, OH and was a laborer for Gil Thermes Fencing. He is preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Gladys (Elliott) Connor and a son, Jerry Connor. He is survived by his wife, Lydia P. Gault, a son, Nicholas Melvin Connor of the home, a daughter, Brittany Connor, Iowa, two brothers, Tom (Charlotte) Connor, Indiana, and Sam Martin, Carrollton, and two sisters, Mary Ann (Jack) Shannon, Bergholz and Debbie Choma, Richmond. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 2 until 5 PM. Services will be held at 5 PM with a private interment in the Bergholz Cemetery.
