Melvin W. Reeves, 63, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away May 5, 2011, in his home, of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Richard and Irene (Brooks) Reeves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.

Melvin retired as a binder in the printing industry in Toledo, Ohio.

He is survived by his son, James (Renae) Reeves of Steubenville; daughters, Jody (James) Smith of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Tammy (John) Lewandowski of Northwood, Ohio; and a brother, Allen (Ann) Reeves of Estro, Fla. and seven grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon with the Reverend Father Timothy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
