Michael J. Clancey, 72, of Richmond, OH, passed away March 6, 2017 at his home.

He was born November 18, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Bernard D. and Edna Mae (Robinson) Clancey.

Michael served his country in the United States Army.

He attended Our Lady of Lourdes, Wintersville.

His entire life he was an avid golfer and a Notre Dame fanatic.

The joy of his life was his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeri Clancey; daughters, Lori Clancey, Teri (Raymond Blackburn) Pendleton, and Michelle (Abel) Gonzalez; son, Ryan Clancey; brothers, Pat (Sue), Robert (Bev), and Bill (Cathy) Clancey step-sister, Liz (Guy) Blancato; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Friday from 12-2 PM and again from 4 until time of funeral services at 6 PM with Pastor Josh Martin and full Military Services.
