Obituary

MICHAEL ROBERT PENDLETON, 51 of Richmond, died October 10, 2009 as a result of injuries suffered from an accident while helping his brothers on the family farm. Mike's life journey took him through deep dark valleys and atop high clear mountains. Through it all he remained Mike, always happy to see you, always concerned about how you were doing and always willing to talk about any team from any sport from any era, especially his Steelers. Mike liked old movies, boisterous conversations with friends and family and being with his daughter and son, Ashley and Shane Michael, and his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed watching and playing sports with Shane. He will be missed by his large extended family and his many lifelong generous friends. He was born June 12, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Abraham and Elizabeth (Woodward) Pendleton and was employed in Pittsburgh by Owens Corning. He is survived by his wife, Teri (Clancey) Pendleton, a son, Shane Michael Pendleton of the home and a daughter, Ashley (Oscar) Aguilera of Wintersville, three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel and Alexis and by his brothers, Patrick (Lala) Pendleton of Bloomingdale, Dr. Scott (Donna) Pendleton of Cadiz and Kevin, Abe (Cathy) and B.J. Pendleton, all of Columbus. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home in Wintersville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
