Michael "Mike" Duane Peterson, 62, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away September 10, 2020.

He was born April 25, 1958 in Mckeesport, PA, a son of the late Robert "Pete" and Mary Louise "Mary Lou" (James) Peterson.

Mike was a part of his family owned and operated business, Peterson's Carpet City for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lisa (Alkire) Peterson; the lights of his life, great niece Amber Travis and her son, great great nephew Decklin; brothers, Jeff Peterson, Doug (Boni) Peterson, and Terry (Jamie) Peterson; sisters, Robin Travis and Susan Peterson; nieces and nephews, Jessie, Danny, Jamie, Tara, Brandi, and Todd; and many great nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. George Van Weelden for his care and kindness.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., on Sunday from 1 PM until time of funeral service at 3 PM with Pastor Tiffany Manley officiating.
