MICHAEL R. SLEE, 71, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 in the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corporation after many years in the Tin Mill and Quality Control. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was born September 28, 1936 in Steubenville, OH. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Willard E. Slee and Elizabeth Mary (Scanlon) Slee Chapin and his wife, May V. (Everhart) Slee who died October 13, 2003. Mike was a loving, caring father and grandfather to 2 daughters, Micheale (Lee) Russell and Stephanie (Robert) Ferroni, all of Wintersville, a grandson Jason M. Monigold of Columbus, OH, and a sister, Sally Brandt of Alphanette, GA. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday. Interment will be private.
