He was born
Mike was first a coal miner for the old Warners Colliers Coal Company before his career as an electrician at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he retired in 1983. He greatly enjoyed his duties that came with being a Springfield Township Trustee over the years.
Mike proudly served his country as a US Marine during WWII serving in the South Pacific until his honorable discharge in 1945 due to a war injury.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him, especially his daughter, Carol Slates of North Canton, Ohio and son and daughter in law, Michael and Donna Dubetz of
