Monti C. Gualtiere, 55, of Wintersville, a very special angel was called home by God on May 21, 2014.

He was born March 23, 1959 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Salvino Gualtiere and Shirley (Schultice) Davies

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Gualtiere; sister, Tamara Gualtiere; brother-in-law, Glenn Justice.

He was a meat cutter by trade. Monti was loved, cherished, and adored by all he will be missed by all who knew him. He loved his family and fiancée, his truck, Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State, North Carolina Tar Heels, and country music he was our original Redneck.

Monti is survived by his fiancée, Rhonda Gotschall; father, John Davies; sons, Michael (companion Alexis) Gualtiere; daughter, Michelle (fiancé Wes) Gualtiere; step-son, Justin (Kayla) Steger; step-daughter, Jillian Steger; brothers, William (fiancé Doreen) Gualtiere and Jackie Davies; sisters, Teresa Justice, Cathy Davies and companion Paul Goff, and Kelly (Tim) Stiles; sister-in-law, Janet Adamczyk; grandchildren, Marshall and Braxton; and many nephews and nieces.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Sunday from 3:00 PM until time of funeral services at 5:00 PM with Pastor Ron Zenchak officiating.
