Ned Moran, Sr. 80 of East Springfield, Ohio passed away May 19, 2021 at his home. Ned was and Ironworker with Local #549 and was a member of East Springfield Vol. Fire Dept.

He was born March 3, 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Donald and Helen (Dever) Moran. In addition to his parents he was preceded  in death by brothers, Donald, Jerry, Walter "Dixie", Ronnie, Gary, Wendell, and Denny; sisters, Betty Watson and Carol Cruse; two grandsons, Russell Vincent Moran and  Joseph Kyle Moran.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Linda (Miller) Moran; three sons, Ned Joe (Brenda) Moran Jr., Brian (Lisa) Moran, and Scott (Joelle) Moran; two daughters, Brenda (Dale) Boyd, Kelley Hanlin and companion Chris Ebright; sister, Donna Dye; grandchildren, Courtney Hager, Brian Moran Jr., Brandi Ralston, Ellis Moran, Zac Long, Kristen Diley, Kaylee Moran, Blake Moran, Isaiah Hanlin, Noah Hanlin, 18 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 11 AM until time of services at 2 PM with Pastor David Guess officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
