Norma Jean Moore, 95, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away on August 2, 2023. She was born on February 8, 1928, in Toronto, Ohio, to the late Edward Craig and Lura (Slocum) Bates. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Glenn Moore; her stepfather, Walter Bates; and her brother, John Craig.

Norma was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Bergholz, Ohio, where she served as the Trustee and in other committees. She loved going to the firehouse for prime-time lunches, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Glenn E. Moore; her daughter, Sandra K. (Earl C.) Rambaud; her brother, Walter Bates; her sister, Nancy Bates; her grandchildren, Michelle (d. Russ) Miller and Christine (Daryl) Wiley; her great grandchildren, Brooke McCoy, Logan Miller, Addison Wiley, Ava Wiley, and Lexie Miller; one great great granddaughter on the way, Marlee Rae Baum; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 246 2nd St, Bergholz, Ohio, 43908, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 12:30 P.M. with Alan Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery.
